What are the enforcement proceedings of the Tribunale di Ragusa?
An enforcement proceeding uniquely identifies a case file opened at the court to recover a debt through the forced sale of the debtor’s assets. Each proceeding is registered with a sequential number and the year it was entered in the General Register of Enforcement Proceedings (R.G.E.): e.g. “Procedura 1234/2024” means case file number 1234 entered in 2024.
The same proceeding can include several lots: a typical case is a residential property sold together with a garage and a cellar as separate but linked lots. Knowing the proceeding helps you understand the context: the same creditor bank, the same debtor, the same sale timescales, often even the same technical appraisal report.
The proceedings of the Tribunale di Ragusa (province of Ragusa) are published on the Ministry of Justice’s Public Sales Portal. addicta aggregates and organises them to make them easier to consult: for each case you can see how many lots it contains, how many are still open, the requested price range and the average discount on the appraised value.
