You create your profile (about 10 minutes)

Basic details, VAT number, a photo, a short description of what you do, the provinces where you work and the types of auction you are interested in (homes, cars, businesses, land…). If you are registered with a professional body you can say so and get the verification badge.

You appear in the auctions in your area

From then on your profile is suggested on the auction pages that match your province and sector. In your personal area you can see how many times you have been shown and on which auctions.

You receive and manage contacts

When someone writes to you, you get an email. The conversation, appointments, notes and confidential documents with that person all stay inside addicta, in order.

Frequently asked questions

When does the first request arrive?

It depends on the volume of auctions in your area and on how specific your profession is. In the largest provinces (Milan, Rome, Naples, Turin, Bologna, Bari) the first contacts typically arrive within the first 7–14 days. In smaller provinces it can take longer: there are fewer auctions and therefore fewer opportunities each month, but also fewer professionals to share visibility with.

Does it work even if I am not registered with a professional body?

Yes. Many professions in this sector — vehicle appraisers, machinery appraisers, restorers, clearance firms, renovators, locksmiths — do not require registration with a professional body. What you need is a VAT number. The “verified” badge is an extra option for those who can document registration with a professional body.

My profession is not listed. Can I still sign up?

Yes. Write to us at info@addicta.it stating the work you do: we usually add the new category within 24–48 hours. If you have a VAT number and work at any point of the auction process (before, during or after the award), there is room for you.

What happens if I do not reply to a request?

No automatic penalty in the first months. Over time, however, people who never reply are shown less often, because the system favours those who respond. Client reviews are public: replying — even just to decline politely — is in your interest.

Is my profile visible throughout Italy?

No. You only appear in the auctions of the provinces you have declared as areas where you work. You can list as many as you like, but our advice is to include only those where you are really present: replying to a request in an area where you cannot handle the case is a waste of time for both sides.

Are reviews checked? Can the score be manipulated?

A review can only be written by someone who has actually opened a case with you, and only when the case is at an advanced stage (client contacted, in negotiation or closed). Clearly offensive or false reviews can be reported by the professional and removed by our team.

Can I delete my account and keep my data?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your personal area. The profile is hidden from the public, but contacts, reviews and appointments stay in your account in read-only mode. If you also want your personal data deleted (your right under GDPR article 17), just write to privacy@addicta.it: we will do it within 30 days.

Who owns my clients’ data?

Yours. You are the independent controller of your clients’ data saved on addicta. We only process it as the service’s technical provider (GDPR article 28). All the details are in our privacy policy.
